About this car

Enzo Ferrari reportedly called it the most beautiful car ever made, and the Series 1 E-Type still earns the title. This 1966 4.2-liter fixed-head coupe wears its long, low, open-headlamp body in Opalescent Gunmetal Metallic, with correct chrome, wire wheels and a red leather interior that lifts the whole car.

The 4.2-liter XK inline-six makes a rated 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft, and the 4.2 brought a stronger gearbox with all-synchromesh ratios and more comfortable seats. Four-wheel disc brakes and independent rear suspension were radical in the 1960s, and still make the E-Type a delight to drive today, with performance capable of 150 mph in its day.

This car has had four owners, with 31 receipts on file and a clean title with no accident history. A thoughtful list of invisible upgrades, including a hidden Bluetooth stereo with phone integration, electric cooling assist, discreet remote locking and uprated brake pads, makes it far more usable than a stock car.
