Casa Azzurra began in 1998 when the three Cinque sisters, Beatrice, Anna and Carla, turned their parents’ pension on Via Pasitea into a small hotel. Twenty-eight years later the collection runs six places along the cliffs from Positano to Conca dei Marini: a five-star palazzo, a resort in a watchtower, two small hotels, a villa and a set of beach apartments.What links them is the way they are run: local staff, family recipes, rooms that smell of lemon and starch, and a rule that every guest is greeted by name on arrival. Messages are answered by the same people who will meet you at the door.
