Amalfi Palazzi restores historic buildings in the old town of Amalfi and gives them a second life as small hotels and serviced apartments. Founder Gennaro Vitale, a conservation architect, started with a ruined paper merchant’s house in 2009 and has since brought four buildings back to use, always keeping the vaults, the tiles and the original beams.
Guests benefit from a central concierge desk, porter service through the pedestrian lanes and a team that knows the town’s hidden corners, from the Paper Museum to the best seat at the harbour.
