Diamond Baseball Theme Features
The Diamond Baseball theme is a stadium-night live board and baseball magazine in one. Clubs, players and games are real records with stat fields, so the league tables, division races, probable starters and leader boards on every page are computed from the same data — never typed twice — and each one says exactly where its numbers came from.
30Clubs
1,000+Players
650+Games
2026Full demo season
Every board shows its work. The demo season is synchronized from the official MLB Stats API, and every table, slate and roster prints its source and the moment it was read — a verified line linking to the official feed. Swap in your own league and the same provenance line follows your data.
01 · League tables
Every division race, one live board
Both leagues and all six division races, ranked by wins with win percentage, streak and games back. Open any club straight from its row — the table is built from the same game records as everything else on the site, so it can never disagree with the scores.
American and National league boards, six division races
Win percentage, streaks and games back at a glance
A verified source line under every table
02 · Rosters
1,000+ players, filterable in the browser
The roster directory covers every active player in the demo season. Filter by club and position or search by name and the grid re-ranks instantly, no reloads. Every card links to a full profile with portrait, position and season statline.
Season leader cards for the marks shaping the race
Club and position filters with instant name search
Player profiles built from the same stat records
03 · Live board
Tonight’s slate, every night
First-pitch times, venues, probable starters and live game state for the night’s games — on the front page, in a scores ticker that follows the reader across the site, and on a scores hub of its own. Between games, a countdown ticks to the next first pitch.
Matchup cards with both probable starters and venue
A scores ticker pinned across every page of the site
A ticking countdown to the next first pitch
04 · Clubs
Every club gets a hero page
All thirty clubs, grouped by league and division with marks and official records. Each club page carries its active roster, current form and upcoming schedule — and readers can follow a club to pull its games to the top of the board.
Marks, records and division context for all 30 clubs
Roster, current form and schedule on every club page
Follow-a-club pins a reader’s team first
05 · The Site Editor
Click any board, restyle any pixel
The whole front page opens as ordinary blocks. Select a standings row, a matchup card or the ticker in List View and restyle it per breakpoint from the sidebar — Stepfox Looks turns every choice into a block attribute, so there is no child theme and no stylesheet to maintain.
List View reaches every card inside every board
Desktop, tablet and mobile values on each block
Every colour, gap and breakpoint is an attribute, not CSS
06 · The back office
One dashboard runs the whole season
The plugin adds a single Baseball menu to wp-admin: teams, players, games, leagues and an official-data console. Press Update now to refresh the season from the MLB Stats API with live progress, or let the daily scheduler keep every board current on its own.
Teams, players and games are ordinary posts with stat fields
One-click official MLB update, plus a daily schedule
A data-health card flags anything that needs attention
