Villa Ginestra stands on the Tragara ridge, where the lane narrows to a footpath and the island simply falls away to the sea. Pale walls hold back a garden of broom and bougainvillea, and from the terrace you look straight out to the three Faraglioni rocks rising from the water. It is a house built to be left alone in, with only the cicadas and the occasional ferry horn.
Five bedrooms are spread over two levels, each with a marble bathroom and its own terrace or garden door. The living room has a long linen sofa, a fireplace for evenings in April and October, and a wall of glass that slides away entirely. The kitchen is professional-grade, and a dining pergola seats fourteen at one table.
The infinity pool runs along the cliff edge, with a heated hot tub on the lower terrace and sunbeds in the sun and shade. A separate pool pavilion, with a king bed, a sitting room and its own terrace, can be booked with the villa for extra privacy or on its own.
A housekeeper and a gardener live nearby and come every day. Our concierge can arrange a chef, a boat to the Blue Grotto, a table at La Fontelina or a quiet picnic on a private cove. Piazzetta is a twelve-minute walk along Via Camerelle, and we arrange car transfers from Marina Grande for you and your luggage.
