Casa Sole is a straightforward, sunny place to stay on the best street in Maiori. The building sits on the Lungomare, with its front door about twenty metres from the sand, and the three apartments inside are bright, practical and set up for people who like to cook a little, swim a lot and go out for dinner when they feel like it. The name means House of the Sun, and from about eleven in the morning it earns it.
The two One-Bedroom Seafront Apartments are identical, on the second and third floors, each with a king bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, a full kitchen and a balcony facing the bay. The Two-Bedroom Family Apartment on the top floor adds a second bedroom, a second shower room and a larger terrace for long lunches. Everything is tiled, air-conditioned and spotless, with blackout shutters and fast Wi-Fi.
Maiori suits families and groups because it has so much flat space: the promenade is wide and level, the beach is long enough that you never fight for a spot, and Corso Reginna, the main shopping street, is parallel to the front. Bakeries, a supermarket, pizzerias and ice-cream parlours are a two-minute walk. Dogs are welcome and the whole promenade is dog-friendly early and late.
There is no reception desk, so arrival is by self check-in with a key box, supported by our local team on WhatsApp. We provide beach towels, a baby cot on request and a short guide with tips for ferries, hikes and the little streets that tourists miss. It is a relaxed, honest base for a week by the sea.

Yes. Well-behaved dogs and cats are welcome for a small cleaning fee. Please keep pets off the beds and let us know how many are coming.
No private parking. There is paid parking at the entrance to town and along the road beyond the pier, about €15–20 per day.
The apartments face the promenade, which is lively in summer evenings until about midnight. Double glazing helps, and all the beds have blackout shutters.

Good beach and a good location, but the apartment needed more care. The Wi-Fi was slow every evening, the sofa bed was thin and the cleaning at arrival missed a few spots. The host sorted most things within a day. Fair for the price, not outstanding.

Stayed a week in the two-bedroom with our teenagers. Plenty of space, the terrace was ideal for dinners and the beach across the road meant no car needed. The host sent great restaurant tips and replied to messages within minutes.
