Ischia Termale Stays runs a handful of thermal hotels and garden houses on the island, many of them with their own hot-spring pools. The group was founded in 1992 by a family of hoteliers from Forio and still runs its hotels with a mix of care and tradition.
Expect pools with volcanic mineral water, mud treatments, island produce and an easy, unhurried pace.
