Theme Features
Gridiron is an American football theme for WordPress. It ships with its own stats plugin, so a season is real data rather than hand-written pages: teams, players, games and competitions are custom post types, and the standings are computed from results instead of typed in twice.
A hundred and one blocks cover the whole sport — conference and division standings with the tie-breakers underneath them, a live score ticker, weekly schedules with spreads and kick-off countdowns, team and player pages with full statlines, cup brackets and group stages, and a logged-in pick’em game that scores itself as the results land.
Every visual decision in the theme is a block attribute you can edit in the Site Editor. The stylesheet is twenty-two lines — there is no hidden CSS file to fight when you want a different colour, a wider column or a new section.

Standings that add up
Conference order, division order and the tie-breakers underneath them — home and away splits, division and conference records, streaks and point differential. Change a result and every table, team page and leader board follows it.

The whole league, filterable
Team and player grids filter and sort in the browser with no page reloads — by position, club, conference or any of the numbers. Every player has a full page: statline, season form, game log and the roster they belong to.

Cups, brackets and finals
Competitions are first-class: knockout rounds, group stages and invitationals, each with its own bracket, group tables and champion. Past finals stay on the site as history, so a club page can show what it has actually won.
Includes the Stepfox Gridiron Stats plugin, a full admin interface for entering a season, and a light and dark palette your visitors can switch between.
