Divisional round: Rams see off Bears 20-17

Los Angeles Rams are into the conference championship round. They beat Chicago Bears 20-17 at Soldier Field, Chicago, IL.

Quarter by quarter it went 7-3-0-7-3 for Rams against 0-10-0-7-0 for Bears.

Rams carried a 12-5 regular season and a point differential of +172 into January. Bears were 11-6 with +26.

Longer term, the interesting question is repeatability. Turnover margin swings from season to season; yards per play does not, and that is the number to trust in a projection.
