Twelve of 22 rounds are gone, seven different riders have won a Grand Prix, and the championship leader has won exactly one of them.
Jorge Martin leads on 240 points with a single Grand Prix win to his name — and seven podiums, three sprint wins and only one weekend all season without a score. That is the whole argument for consistency, printed in one line.
Behind him, Marc Marquez has 200 points from three wins and four sprint wins, Marco Bezzecchi 196 from four wins, Ai Ogura 195 and Raul Fernandez 184. The top five are separated by 56 points; four of the five ride Aprilias.
Barcelona is missing from all of it. The 17 May classification was published without points, so eleven laps of racing changed nothing at all.
