The newest circuit on the calendar packs more corners into each kilometre than anywhere else the championship visits.
Balaton Park is 4.075 km long with 17 corners — ten left, seven right — and a longest straight of just 665 m. That works out at 4.2 corners per kilometre, the highest ratio of the 22 venues on the 2026 calendar.
Grand Prix racing arrived here in 2025, and the lap record is already Marc Marquez’s: a 1:37.699 set that year. He won again in June 2026, from pole, having also taken the sprint.
The Grand Prix runs to 26 laps, which on a lap this busy means well over four hundred corner entries for every rider who finishes.
