Jorge Martin took pole with a 1:30.812 — the top four covered by 0.103s — and finished third. Between him and the top step were the two Trackhouse Aprilias: Ogura in 40:21.905 and Raul Fernandez 2.004s adrift, having won the sprint the day before.
Assen was attritional: six of the 22 starters retired, Bezzecchi and Bagnaia among them.
