This page explains what you get when you buy a StepFox Themes theme or plugin, and what you may do with it.

1. 100% GPL

Every theme and plugin we sell is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (a few products use version 3; the license is stated in each product’s header). The GPL gives you the freedom to use, study, modify and redistribute the code. We rely on WordPress, which is itself GPL, and we do not add restrictions that the GPL does not allow.

2. What your purchase includes

The download of the Product and any companion plugin it needs.
Use on as many sites as you like, yours or your clients’, without extra fees.
Free updates for as long as we maintain the Product, delivered through the built-in updater and My Account.
6 months of support from the order date, as described in the Terms of Service.

Access to downloads, updates and support is tied to your account and is not transferable. If you refund a Product, that access ends.

3. What is not covered by the GPL

Demo content. The articles, photos, team names, logos, player data and other material shown on our demo sites are for demonstration only. They are not included in the download, or are included only as placeholders you must replace. You are responsible for the rights to any content you publish with a Product.
Third-party assets. Fonts, icons and libraries bundled with a Product keep their own licenses (for example the SIL Open Font License or MIT). Those licenses are included in the package.
Our trademarks. The $CO name, logo and product names may not be used to market your own products or to imply that we endorse your site.
This website. The design and text of stepfoxthemes.com and our product descriptions and screenshots are copyright StepFox Themes and may not be copied.

4. Redistribution

The GPL allows you to redistribute the code. We ask that you do not resell our Products as your own or distribute our download links, accounts or support, which are provided to you personally. Products obtained from anywhere other than this site do not receive updates or support from us and may have been modified by others.

5. No warranty

As the GPL states, the software is provided without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Our Refund Policy and the Terms of Service explain what we do offer: a 7-day money-back guarantee, updates and support.
