Highmesa Thunder travel to Homestead Stadium, Prairie City for the opening week of the 2026 season, kick-off Tuesday 15 September at 00:15 UTC, live on SportsNet / Channel 7.
Highmesa Thunder finished the 2025 season 14-3 and took the 1st seed in the Atlantic. Prairie City Pioneers finished 6-11 and missed the bracket.
The opening line has it at KC -3 with a total of 42.5, which tells you the market is treating this as a home-field game rather than a mismatch.
There is a version of this game that turns on one snap, and both benches knew which one it was. Everything after it was played at a different tempo.
Arthur Rowe is in charge on the home sideline, with Pete Halvorsen opposite him. Week one form is famously unreliable, but the openers still set the tone for a division race that runs to January.
