These terms explain how ordering on Pinch works. Pinch is a demonstration store: the restaurants are fictional, no payment is taken and no food is delivered. The terms below show what a real service would publish.
Ordering
When you place an order, you buy food from the restaurant you chose. Pinch takes the order, passes it to the kitchen and arranges delivery or pickup. Your order is confirmed when you see its tracking page.
Prices and fees
Menu prices are set by each restaurant and include VAT. Delivery orders may carry a delivery fee based on distance, a service fee and a small order fee when the basket is under €10. Every fee is shown before you pay.
Delivery and pickup
Arrival times are estimates. Someone needs to be available at the delivery address; if the courier cannot reach you after ten minutes, the order may be cancelled without a refund. Pickup orders are held for 30 minutes after they are ready.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel for free until the restaurant starts preparing your order. Missing or wrong items are refunded when reported within 24 hours.
Allergens
Restaurants list the 14 major allergens for each dish. Kitchens handle many ingredients, so traces cannot be ruled out. If you have a severe allergy, contact the restaurant before ordering.
Promo codes
Codes have their own conditions, such as a minimum order, a first-order rule or specific restaurants. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and one code applies per order unless stated otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
