74% of the roster fights orthodox. That is the headline, and it is not a surprise. The more useful number is what happens to everyone else.
| Stance | Fighters | Share | Career win rate | Most wins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orthodox | 493 | 74% | 76.0% | Alexander Volkov (40-11-0) |
| Southpaw | 110 | 16% | 75.6% | Jim Miller (39-19-0) |
| Switch | 66 | 10% | 77.9% | Zhang Weili (26-4-0) |
Win rate here is career wins divided by career fights for every fighter listed under that stance. It says nothing about any single matchup, but it does say whether standing the other way round is holding anybody back. On this roster it is not.
