South Bay Motors has been a Hawthorne Boulevard fixture since 1994, selling Japanese cars to the beach cities, Palos Verdes and the Harbor Area. Torrance has deep ties to the Japanese auto industry, and our shop grew up alongside that community, with a team that actually drives and tinkers with what it sells.

Our daily-driver lineup of Camrys, Civics, CR-Vs, RAV4s, Mazda3s and Lexus sedans is chosen for reliability and clean histories. For enthusiasts we keep a rotating collection of sport compacts and JDM legends, from Miatas and Supras to GT-Rs and Lancer Evolutions, each with documented ownership and honest notes on any modifications.

Our service department speaks fluent tuner and fluent commuter: routine maintenance, pre-purchase inspections, tasteful upgrades such as coilovers and intakes, and stock-spec restoration.
