Raul Fernandez, from podium regular to race winner

Five podiums, two sprint wins and, at Silverstone, the top step of a Grand Prix for the first time.

Fernandez sits fifth on 184 points, 56 behind Martin. He was third in Thailand in the opening round, second at Assen behind Ogura, third at the Sachsenring, and won at Silverstone from the outside of the front row.

The two sprint wins — Mugello and Assen — came at circuits with nothing in common, which is the most encouraging thing anyone at Trackhouse can say about the second half of the season.
