Denver Broncos are into the conference championship round. They beat Buffalo Bills 33-30 at Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO.
Quarter by quarter it went 7-3-7-13-0 for Bills against 3-17-3-7-3 for Broncos.
Broncos carried a 14-3 regular season and a point differential of +90 into January. Bills were 12-5 with +116.
The margins at this level are narrow enough that a single missed gap fit becomes an explosive play, and an explosive play becomes a two-score swing. That is the whole sport in one sentence.
Buffalo Bills finish the season here. Joe Brady will take a roster back to work with the bracket experience banked.
