Seattle Seahawks are through to the final. They took the NFC championship 31-27 against Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field, Seattle, WA.
Seahawks finished the regular season 14-3 as the 1st seed; Rams were 12-5 and the 5th seed. On a night like this those numbers stop meaning very much after the first possession.
A one-score conference championship is decided by three or four snaps, and both coaching staffs will spend the week finding out which ones.
Watch the hash marks. Formation into the boundary changed the leverage on the outside receivers and the safety help never rotated in time, which is how a good secondary gives up a bad afternoon.
Los Angeles Rams go home with a season that ended one game short. That is the cruellest place to finish, and it is also the clearest evidence a club is close.
