Atlanta Falcons travel to Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA for the opening week of the 2026 season, kick-off Sunday 13 September at 17:00 UTC, live on FOX.
Atlanta Falcons finished the 2025 season 8-9 and missed the bracket. Pittsburgh Steelers finished 10-7 and took the 4th seed.
The opening line has it at PIT -3 with a total of 41.5, which tells you the market is treating this as a home-field game rather than a mismatch.
Depth is the quiet currency of a long season. Clubs that survive January are usually the ones whose backups played real snaps in October and were not exposed by it.
Mike McCarthy is in charge on the home sideline, with Kevin Stefanski opposite him. Week one form is famously unreliable, but the openers still set the tone for a division race that runs to January.
