The current imported NHL dataset contains 32 member clubs, divided evenly between the Eastern and Western conferences. Each conference contains 16 teams.
The Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central and Pacific divisions each contain eight clubs. These counts describe the League structure represented in the official member-club list and standings feed.
