How we choose stays

-

- A host we would happily meet. Families, small hotel groups and local agencies who answer messages the same day.

- Photos that tell the truth. No wide-angle tricks. If the terrace is shared, the listing says so.

- A real calendar. Availability syncs with the property’s own booking calendar, so what you see as free is free.

- Clear terms. Cancellation rules, deposits and the visitor tax appear on the room, not in the small print.

- Local roots. Every host is based on the coast, on the islands or in Naples.

Booking direct, properly

Getaway is not a marketplace that disappears once you have paid. You book with the host through our checkout, and a real person is at the other end of the phone if a ferry is cancelled or a key goes missing. Hosts pay a commission only on stays that actually happen, which is why we can show you the same price you would pay at the front desk.

Meet our hosts

Eight hosts run the stays on Getaway, from family-run hotel groups in Positano and Amalfi to Marina and Lucia Russo in Atrani and Giulia Esposito in Naples.
