There are four, and they are the same on every stay, so you only have to learn them once. Days are counted back from the check-in time of the stay (usually 15:00, Italy time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flexible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Best when plans may move. No refund once booked, so book it only when your dates are fixed or your travel insurance covers cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the refund covers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The percentage applies to what you paid for the room and any extras. Where you paid a deposit, the refund is calculated on the amount actually paid. Refunds go to the card or method you paid with, and banks usually show them within five to ten working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Worked examples<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-gw-card\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Four nights at \u20ac240 on a flexible rate, cancelled ten days before check-in: you get the full \u20ac960 back.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Five nights at \u20ac240 on a moderate rate (\u20ac1,200), cancelled five days before check-in: 50% applies, so \u20ac600 comes back.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A villa week at \u20ac1,400 per night on a strict rate, cancelled 20 days before check-in: 50% of the amount paid comes back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to cancel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <a href=\"https:\/\/stepfoxthemes.com\/getaway-elementor\/my-account\/trips\/\">My trips<\/a> and choose the booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Cancel booking<\/strong>. You will see the exact refund amount and the policy tier before you confirm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm. You will get an email, the nights go back on sale, and the refund is started automatically.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If the host cancels or you need to change dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a host cancels, you receive a full refund whatever the policy, and we will help you find an alternative. To change dates, message the host from your confirmation email: if they agree, we will update the booking without a new payment.
